Feature
Purpose-built for the ami pattern. An ultra-compact model made to drift and get bites.
In seasons when mebaru and horse mackerel feed on ami and tiny crustaceans just under the surface, the biggest challenge is that standard worms and plugs often do not match the size. Ami Baits was developed to bridge that gap.
Its ultra-compact silhouette blends into the size profile of real ami. It is designed to slip naturally into even tight mouths and be inhaled without resistance. The ribbed body and delicate tail create subtle vibration in the current. Rather than making it move dramatically, it is designed to drift naturally with the tide.
The body also contains fish attractant, helping fish notice it from a distance and then bite naturally once they move in.
The target zone is the range where ami are drifting. Rather than actively working it, let it sync with the current.
This is not about "showing" the lure, but about letting it blend in. It is a dedicated tool for cracking one of the toughest patterns in light game fishing.
