CONCEPT
Lansa Distancia LD-5112UL is a two-piece rod designed for long casting distance and high sensitivity. The blank, guide layout, and taper were tuned as a complete system for use with highly sensitive ester lines, allowing even the faintest bites that were once difficult to detect to be picked up with confidence.
MATERIAL
By incorporating BORON into the butt section, this rod delivers exceptional resilience and crisp responsiveness while maintaining outstanding sensitivity.When paired with high-sensitivity ester lines, it detects even the subtle bites that once went unnoticed.
Hooking
The medium-fast taper keeps the tip and mid-section relatively supple, allowing fish to take the lure naturally and making hooksets easier. When the rod comes under heavy load, the BORON in the butt section provides firm support, stabilizing both casting and the fight with its quick recovery.
GUIDE SETTING
By increasing the guide count to eight, the load on the line is distributed more evenly. This improves resistance to crosswinds and allows the use of even finer lines. TORZITE rings are used throughout the guide system. Light lures can be cast by loading the softer upper section from the belly upward, while heavier lures load deeper into the blank, taking advantage of the BORON in the butt section for remarkable casting distance.
Material
BORON is used in the load-bearing butt section to achieve both resilience and crispness. Even when the rod bends deeply, it retains its core, generating rebound during the cast and providing support during the fight.
Taper
The tip through belly loads in smoothly, making it easy to let fish take the lure naturally. As the load increases, the butt takes over, balancing landing security and operability.
Guide Setting
The eight-guide layout distributes line load more evenly. It helps reduce the effects of crosswinds, remains easy to use even with fine ester lines, and transmits information from long distances directly to your hand.
