Feature
The original slide-action spoon.
In recent years, slide-action spoons have become increasingly popular, but YARIE focused on this movement as early as around 2010 and released the T-Spoon 0.9g and 1.1g.
T-Spoon originally began during the development of a smaller Ringo model. From those prototypes, a design based on the concept of "slide" emerged and became a stand-alone model.
By holding the rod slightly higher and retrieving slowly, you can bring out more of its slide action.
In contrast, the T-Spoon 0.6g and 1.4g are models characterized by a stable, regular action.
Their weight-balance design places the center of gravity toward the tail, giving them excellent casting distance despite their light weight. With casting performance comparable to spoons one size larger, they can reach water that was previously out of range. The line eye is also offset from center, so they begin swimming immediately after splashdown.
The combination of long casting and a quick start-up creates both wider coverage and stronger appeal.
Wide Range Control
1.4g Regular Action
Best suited for targeting depths of around 1 to 2 meters. By adjusting retrieve speed and rod angle, it holds the intended range with confidence. It also performs very well when tracing the bottom or fishing rising breaks like a Ringo.
Wide Range Control
1.1g Slide Action
A model suited to covering roughly 50 cm to 1.5 m. Adding rod input makes it easy to intentionally produce a fine slide action.
Surface and Wide Range Control
0.9g Slide Action
Excellent for buzzing near the surface and capable of covering about 1 meter of depth. Letting it swim with a slightly upright posture makes the slide action easier to produce.
Surface and Wide Range Control
0.6g Regular Action
By using a special material, this model achieves approximately half the weight of the 1.1 g version while maintaining the same plate thickness. It is designed primarily for dead-slow surface retrieves, but it also allows anglers to probe different depth ranges by gradually changing the retrieve depth. A technical model well worth trying for intermediate and advanced anglers.
