Feature
A spoon that shines on breakline approaches.
Ringo was developed with Instructor Matsuo of Higashiyamako Fishing Area to efficiently target trout holding along breaklines at Higashiyamako.
Its biggest advantage is how well it resists rising during the retrieve, allowing it to hold the intended range steadily. It especially excels in deeper ponds with little water movement.
The method is simple: cast, count it down to the target range, and then retrieve. In areas where fish are responding, a slow retrieve with light twitches can keep drawing bites from trout stationed near the breakline. Its sensitivity to subtle bites also helps improve hookup rates.
Its wide, thin body design allows even surface retrieves in deeper fields, and the hook posture stays stable when ticking the bottom. From the surface to the bottom and all the way through breakline tactics, this is a practical, highly versatile spoon.
Wide Range Control
3.0g
Despite its 3.0 g weight, it is tuned for slow retrieves. It holds the target range well and gives you time to work trout near the bottom of large ponds. It is especially effective when you want to track a deep range steadily.
Wide Range Control
2.1g
The 2.1 g model features a wobbling roll that glides through the water. It is excellent for slowly probing near the bottom, but its light, crisp casting feel also makes it useful for targeting the surface farther offshore. It is a versatile size that covers both range and distance.
Wide Range Control
2.0g
This model features a slow-pitch wobbling action with a strong rolling element. It performs well when fish dislike a larger spoon silhouette or when bites are concentrated at long distance.
Wide Range Control
1.8g
Its appeal comes from a stable wobbling roll action and excellent range-keeping ability. It is easy to use regardless of water color or pond size, making it a true all-around size.
